If you have a faulty dishwasher, fridge, freezer, cooker or microwave that is out of warranty then it is advisable to look for an approved and established repair company.
Use the internet and, once you have found a company that may be able to do the job then search for any complaints made against them.
For example, repaircare.co.uk may seem good at the outset but we found more than 212,000 references to complaints against the company. Most are based on the fact that they seem to deem a lot of appliances as 'un-repairable' after a very brief engineers' visit, they then refund your money less the £45 call-out charge.
